Early Root Living is rooted in something simple—learning to care for yourself with what you have.

Long before I ever thought about herbs or ingredients, I was the kind of kid who used whatever I could find to feel put together. I borrowed creams, sprayed perfumes that weren’t mine, and turned kitchen staples like mayo, avocado, and olive oil into hair treatments. I even used what was around me—an iron to straighten my hair, a heating pipe to curl it. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine.

That mindset never left.

Today, I’m still creating in that same spirit—just now it happens in my small apartment, on a dining room island from IKEA that didn’t come with the place, but somehow became the center of it all.

This is where everything is made.

I create small-batch deodorants, body butters, salves, and teas—testing, adjusting, and remaking things until they feel right. Not just in how they work, but in how they make me feel: rested, nourished, and comfortable in my own skin.

I’m not an expert, and I’m not trying to be. I’m learning as I go—exploring herbs, understanding ingredients like tallow, honey, shea, and oils, and figuring out what actually supports everyday life.

Earlyroot Living is a space for that process.

Everything is handcrafted, made in small batches, and created with care. But more than that, it’s about sharing—because the best part of making something good is giving it to someone else and knowing it made them feel a little more at ease.
